About Jon C.
Jon C. Walker entered law school after completing undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, earning a B.A. in 2001. He took his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law the same yr and moved into Illinois practice quickly after. The two degrees set a clear trail to court work and claims advocacy.
His early years practicing law were spent at Power & Cronin, Ltd., where he labored as an affiliate beginning in 2005. That experience introduced him to legal proceedings and client advocacy in state forums. By 2007 he had joined Katz, Friedman, Eagle, Eisenstein, Johnson & Bareck, P.C. as a partner. The partnership years broadened his courtroom experience and deepened his involvement in tort and damages matters.
Walker later joined Woodruff Johnson & Evans Injury Law Offices. Records list him there as an attorney in 2016 and point out multiple office listings for the company. At Woodruff Johnson & Evans he has treated cases on behalf of injured employees and people looking for disability benefits, drawing on his prior trial and claims work.
He is licensed to practice in Illinois and has been active in legal organizations that align with his areas of practice. He has belonged to the Illinois State Bar Association since 2004 and to the Chicago Bar Association since 2004, participating on numerous committees, which includes the Workers' Compensation Committee, the Tort Litigation Committee and the Social Security Law Committee. He served on the Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association from 2011 to 2012.
Walker has been a member of the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association since 2007 and served on the board of the Young Lawyers Section of that affiliation from 2010 to 2013. He joined the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives in 2010 and has been part of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association since 2012. There is also a document of service at the Illinois State Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Law Section Council in 2011.

He pursues claims in employees' damages forums, advocates for claimants earlier than the Social Security Administration, and handles related personal damage matters. He practices at Woodruff Johnson & Evans Injury Law Offices, representing clients in workers' compensation, Social Security disability and private damage matters.
