Steven Tal Young is the principal and owner of Tal Young, P.C., a regulation firm based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is certified to practice regulation in New Mexico and Colorado, with admissions to the New Mexico Court of Appeals, the Colorado Court of Appeals, the highest court. The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Young earned his Juris Doctor from St.
Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. He additionally holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from New Mexico State University. His areas of practice consist of insolvency, business law, collections, divorce, construction litigation, probate, property law, and civil litigation. He has represented clients nationwide, participating in federal and state instances in multiple jurisdictions and interesting in insolvency cases on behalf of creditors and debtors in United States Bankruptcy Court national. He has also led oral arguments within the Supreme Court.
Before his legal career, Mr. Young worked in a number of roles, including as a farmer, cattle rancher, and oil area roughneck in Texas. He has also worked for an electric powered cooperative and is a posted worldwide mountaineering photographer. He is a member of the Albuquerque and American Bar Associations, in addition to the State Bar of New Mexico. He participates within the sections on Bankruptcy, Commercial Litigation, Appellate and Trial Practice, and the Young Lawyers Division.
