About Shana

Shana Siegel studied history and thoughts at Barnard College before turning to law at Georgetown University Law Center. Her academic path placed her at two institutions known for their rigorous packages. She left Georgetown ready for a mix of regulatory work and realistic legal problem-fixing.

She entered the expert world in health care law. In 1990 she joined AARP as a health care regulatory specialist. That position put her in the middle of policy issues affecting older Americans.
