About Ron

Ron Brien has practiced law for more than 4 decades. He built his legal foundation in upstate New York and persisted his education in Connecticut. Over the years he has maintained memberships in several nearby and state bar organizations, and he runs a personal practice that handles matters on both sides of the border.

Brien began his academic adventure at the State University of New York at Albany, the place he earned a B.A. in political science in 1981 after beginning his undergraduate studies in 1977. He moved right away into law program and finished his J.D. at Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1984. The series of degrees places him amongst a generation of attorneys whose careers span meaningful changes in courtroom procedures, technological know-how and client expectations.

After law program Brien based himself in practice throughout Connecticut and New York. His career has mixed personal practice control and court work. Running the Law Office of Ronald J. Brien LLC, he has overseen case preparation, client counseling and the administrative duties that come with a small firm. His work calls for familiarity with each Connecticut and New York procedures and the capacity to move among different courtroom calendars, submitting structures and nearby rules.
