About Robert
Robert D. Mattingly is a seasoned litigation attorney with more than 25 years of experience working as an attorney in Kentucky and Indiana. Since getting into the legal career in 1999, he has represented clients in a broad variety of legal issues and developed a strong reputation for his work within the courtroom.
Rob earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. His years of legal knowledge have given him a deep knowing of trial practice, client advocacy, and the demands of complicated legal cases.
Throughout his career, Rob has acquired recognition from several outstanding legal organizations. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers and named amongst the Top one hundred Trial Lawyers and Nation’s Top One Percent. Louisville Magazine has acknowledged him as a Top Lawyer.
Beyond his work as an attorney, Rob has remained lively in the Kentucky legal community. He used to be elected to the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Justice Association. He was also appointed by the Kentucky Attorney General to serve at the Board of the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance.
Rob has acquired additional expert honors, including the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and recognition as an Honorary Commissioner of Agriculture.
Licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Indiana, Rob is a member of the American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, American Association for Justice, and Indiana Bar Association.
