About Robert
Robert Jacobs earned his Bachelor of Science from the City University of New York’s City College in 1963 and went directly to receive his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1968. Those years set a steady direction. The law school diploma got here at a time when court practice used to be converting and he entered the profession as a young attorney eager to test his skills.
He began his legal career at Bader, Dorsey & Kreshtool in 1968. That early work placed him in legal proceedings rooms and in the front of judges. He spent the ones youth developing trial habits and studying how instances pass from intake to ruling. In 1981 he co-based Jacobs & Crumplar, P.A., taking at the duties of building a tradition and guiding younger attorneys. The company established workplaces in Wilmington and Georgetown, maintaining a presence in both groups.
Outside the office he has been active in organizations that center on trial advocacy and civil justice. He holds membership within the American Association of Justice and in Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. He is also a member of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association. Since 1988 he has served on the Board of Governors of the American Association of Justice, a role he has retained for decades.
Those affiliations reflect a courtroom orientation. Over time his work has remained anchored in litigation. He has attempted matters in Delaware courts and treated the procedural, evidentiary and strategic elements that trial practice calls for. Colleagues describe him as steady in court and pragmatic on the bargaining table. He has guided cases through dispositive motions, trials and resolutions, selecting techniques according to the wants of each topic.
At Jacobs & Crumplar, P.A., he persisted to shape the firm’s strategy to client representation. The practice maintained its focus on trial work and civil legal proceedings while expanding to serve clients from each Wilmington and Georgetown. He mentored junior lawyers and helped set office procedures that mirrored lengthy knowledge in the courtroom.
Now within the later phase of his profession, he remains lively in professional circles and within the court. He is licensed to practice in Delaware and spends his time on trial litigation and civil-case work that arises within the state. He presently handles trial litigation and civil instances in Delaware.
