About Richard C.
Richard C. Bell earned his B.A. in records from Duke University in 1978 and took his legal degree at Rutgers School of Law–Newark, graduating with a J.D. in 1981. Those study room years framed his interest in the realistic side of law. He left faculty prepared for the courtroom and the counsel chamber alike.
After law school he moved into personal practice. In 1986 he opened his own firm, the Law Offices of Richard C. Bell, and has maintained it since. Running a solo practice required balancing case work, client intake and the daily management duties that maintain a small law workplace functioning. He has spent many years managing that mix.
Bell is licensed to practice in each New Jersey and New York. Those dual jurisdictions have formed how he approaches clients and instances. Working throughout state lines means adapting to 2 units of guidelines and two courtroom calendars, and his practice displays that reality.
He holds memberships within the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers’ Association. Membership in those organizations has given him continuing get entry to to legal education and nearby professional networks.
