About Rebecca

Rebecca Hurst grew up in Kentucky and constructed her legal basis in the state. She earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2009, then went directly to obtain her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2013. Her educational path mixed an interest in human conduct with the doctrinal rigors of law school.

Her realistic education began whilst she used to be still a student. In 2012 she interned on the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky, gaining exposure to federal practice and courtroom process. The following yr she served as an extern clerk to Justice Mary Noble on the Kentucky highest court, observing appellate decision-making at the state’s highest level.

After law school she moved into private practice and into company leadership quickly. Since 2013 she has been the managing partner of Hurst & Hurst Law. That position put her in command of day-to-day operations, client intake, and supervising legal work throughout the company’s offices. Colleagues describe her as realistic and precision-focused in terms of case control and firm management.

Hurst maintains active professional memberships. She has been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association since 2013 and additionally belongs to the Kentucky Justice Association and the American Bar Association, both since 2012. The Kentucky Bar Association has recognized her participation in ongoing legal training programs, and the company lists a Kentucky regulation license amongst her credentials.

Her career has kept her rooted in Kentucky courts and communities. She runs the company from its Harrodsburg workplace in addition to the firm’s other location, coordinating local client work and overseeing legal proceedings and transactional files. The aggregate of state appellate publicity, federal internship knowledge, and instant duty in personal practice has formed a continuous, practical strategy to legal work.

She continues to serve clients through Hurst & Hurst Law and manages the firm’s caseload from its Harrodsburg and other workplace locations. Her current practice focuses on representing clients throughout Kentucky from the firm’s workplaces.
