About Peter
Peter Mueller attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law starting in 1969 and earned his Juris Doctor in 1972. He emerged from law school at a time when household law was becoming extra contested and extra visible within the courts. The legal education he received in Chicago provided the foundation for a long practice that has centered on parental rights and family court procedures.
After commencement, Mueller entered the practice of regulation. Over the years he focused his work on things that generally seem in family courts. His path brought him to represent parents navigating custody, visitation, paternity, and financial child support disputes. He has worked on negotiated resolutions and contested hearings, representing clients in both casual settings and formal court hearings.
Mueller has kept recent professional memberships over the course of his career. Those ties have kept him engaged with advancements in household regulation, changes in state statutes, and evolving courtroom practices. He has relied on that ongoing contact with colleagues and organizations to stay abreast of procedural shifts and new case law that affect parental rights litigation.
The central theme of his practice has been the representation of fathers in household regulation things. That emphasis informs how he approaches case strategy and client counseling. He assists clients in making ready for hearings, gathering applicable evidence, and knowing the realistic implications of custody and support orders. In many cases he has labored to resolve disputes through negotiation, while also preparing instances for trial when necessary.
Mueller is affiliated with Fathers Rights.com, the place he is primarily based. In that setting he provides legal advice and representation to guys dealing with the legal complexities of separation, parenting time arrangements, paternity questions, and help obligations. His work includes both courtroom advocacy and case preparation behind the scenes.
He continues to practice law at Fathers Rights.com, representing fathers in custody, visitation, paternity, and financial child support matters and assisting clients thru negotiation and litigation in family court.
