About Ora

Ora Schwartzberg trained at Vermont Law School and earned her J.D. in 1984. She began her legal career soon after completing law program. The early years of practice set the stage for a long-running solo practice she would later establish.

She opened Schwartzberg Law in 1985 and has operated the company since then. The practice grew around dispute resolution and matters that intersect family and finance. Over the years she constructed skills to manage contested matters and negotiated settlements. She additionally developed a practice fashion that favors structured processes over court brinkmanship.

Schwartzberg holds numerous professional certifications that shape the work she accepts. She is a New Hampshire Certified Family Mediator. She is a Certified Financial Litigator thru the American Academy of Financial Litigators. She also earned certification as a Collaborative Law Lawyer from the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Her bar admissions span three states: New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. She has served in bar governance and nearby affiliation leadership. She used to be elected to 2 consecutive two-yr phrases on a board of governors. She chaired the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the New Hampshire Bar for four separate one-yr phrases. From 2011 through 2014 she served as president of the Grafton County Bar Association. These roles tied her to friends across courtroom, facilitated negotiation and bar association committee settings.

Schwartzberg’s practice blends mediation, collaborative law and monetary litigation. She frequently steps into family things which have meaningful monetary additives. She additionally assists clients who choose negotiated resolutions through collaborative processes or certified facilitated negotiation. Her courtroom work has been less seen than her facilitated negotiation and collaborative engagements, but she keeps the litigation abilities required when bargaining stalls.
