About Nicolas D

Nicolas D Grimwood took an indirect route into the law. He studied records as an undergraduate, earning a B.A. from College of the Ozarks in 2008. That background left him attuned to context and element; he returned to school a few years later and acquired his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2014.

After law school he entered personal practice and built a practice across state lines. He is licensed to practice in Oklahoma and in Missouri. Over the years he has handled court work and transactional matters, giving him experience on both facets of the bench. Colleagues describe him as methodical in making ready instances and easy in courtroom.

Grimwood’s work has covered litigation and client counseling. He has represented individuals and agencies in state courts and in administrative settings. He has organized pleadings, controlled evidence-gathering process, attempted cases and negotiated resolutions. He additionally handles contractual and compliance issues for organizational clients.
