About Michael

Michael Catalanotto constructed a foundation in numbers earlier than he became to regulation. He earned a B.S. in accounting from Salisbury University in 2001 and added a MBA there the following year. He then finished a J.D. at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2005. Those credentials gave him both enterprise education and legal background early in his career.

He started practicing as an affiliate at Brettschneider & Brettschneider, LLC in 2005. The role placed him in a small company environment on the start of his professional legal career. Two years later he opened his personal firm, establishing The Law Offices of Michael Catalanotto, PC in 2007. That pass shifted him from worker to principal and owner.

Catalanotto is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. He has held club in professional legal associations since 2006. Those affiliations have run alongside his personal practice work and his dealing with of client things across state lines.

His training in accounting and business informs how he strategies cases. He brings financial literacy to client problems and makes use of it to assess transactions and documents. That background often shapes how he prepares for bargaining sessions and organizes case strategy, particularly where numbers and records matter.

Over the years he has controlled the realistic tasks of operating a small regulation workplace. That has covered client intake, case management and the executive duties that come with firm ownership. He has mixed the ones responsibilities with the direct legal work that maintains a nearby practice operating everyday.

Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who understands both the technical side of finance and the procedural needs of the courts in two states. He has maintained a lively practice since founding his firm and continues to accept matters that require legal analysis knowledgeable by business and accounting concepts. He maintains a personal practice in New York and represents clients in matters throughout New York and Connecticut.
