About Leonard D.
Leonard D. Harden trained in two countries earlier than he started practicing in New Hampshire. He earned a B.A. from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, in 1986 and completed his J.D. at the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1993. Those academic years set the course for a profession centered on felony instances and forensic problems.
He entered personal practice the year he completed law school, becoming a member of the Law Office of Thomas A. Rappa, Jr. as an affiliate in 1993. Four years later he moved right into a management position as managing lawyer at Twomey & Sisti. In 2003 he opened his own company, Harden Law, and has operated as a solo attorney since then. The shift to solo practice allowed him to manipulate the course of his caseload and the services he gives clients across northern New Hampshire.
Harden's work emphasizes felony protection and impaired-driving cases. He holds a number of technical certifications tied to that work: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration credentials in Field Sobriety Testing and as an Instructor in Field Sobriety Testing; certification as a Breath Test Operator from Industrial Training & Design; and training on the Intoxilyzer 8000 thru MD Marketing. Those credentials tell how he evaluates roadside procedures, breath testing protocols, and forensic reports.
His affiliations mirror that intersection of law and forensics. He is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College of DUI Defense, the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the New Hampshire Bar Association. He additionally holds club within the Coos County and Grafton County bar associations. Locally, he serves on the board of directors of the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Colleagues and opposing counsel encounter Harden across a spread of rural courthouses. He keeps workplaces in Lebanon, Littleton and Lancaster, which allows him to take instances across the region. His practice draws on trial experience, technical training in sobriety and breath checking out, and ongoing engagement with expert teams concerned with forensic science and criminal defense.
He currently practices at Harden Law and concentrates on felony protection and DUI matters from workplaces in Lebanon, Littleton and Lancaster.
