About Bonnie
Bonnie Sisak earned her undergraduate diploma in 2002 from the University of New Hampshire, the place she studied political science and sociology. She stayed in the state for law program and acquired her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2006. Her educational background mixed social science and law, grounding her later work in public defense and court practice.
Sisak started her professional legal career on the New Hampshire Public Defender’s office in 2006. She served as an attorney there and persisted in roles within the workplace over the years, which includes a position described as Staff Lawyer in 2019. Those years within the public defender device exposed her to a big selection of felony matters and the practical demands of representing clients who could not afford personal counsel. Her courtroom experience dates again to the start of her career and spans trials, client counseling, and case preparation.
In 2022 Sisak moved into private practice as Of Counsel at Connolly Law PLLC. The transition further a different set of duties. As Of Counsel she consults on cases, advises on approach, and assists with litigation when cases require extra trial and protection resources. Her work on the firm complements the abilities she developed on the Public Defender’s office.
Outside of casework, Sisak serves at the Board of Governors of the New Hampshire Association of Justice. In that position she participates in bar-related things to do and supports form packages that address civil and felony justice subjects. Her presence at the board reflects a continuing connection to the state’s legal community and to expert dialogue about practice standards and access to counsel.
Colleagues describe Sisak as steady and pragmatic. She approaches matters by focusing on the instant needs of clients and the mechanics of legal proceedings. The work she has carried out over 20 years emphasizes preparation, client communication, and managing cases from arraignment through resolution.
Now based at Connolly Law PLLC, Sisak continues to practice in New Hampshire. She applies years of public protection knowledge to representing clients in criminal things and related proceedings.
