About Lauren
Lauren Deal constructed a trail to law that started within the classroom. She graduated from Agnes Scott College in 1999 and returned to Georgia for her legal studies, earning a J.D. from the University of Georgia in 2006. She was licensed to the State Bar of Georgia the same year and has maintained lively membership since.
Her early professional lifestyles included a year coaching at Jefferson County High School in 2000. That chapter preceded a move into the area of law. In 2006 she labored as a regulation clerk for Judge John Lee Parrott within the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. The clerkship gave her a near view of courtroom procedure and judicial choice-making.
In 2007 she joined the Monroe County District Lawyer's Office as an assistant district lawyer. That position positioned her on the prosecutorial side of criminal matters. She used to be affiliated with the Prosecuting Lawyers Council of Georgia from 2007 till 2015, a period at some point of which she treated the demands of trial preparation and court work.
In 2015 she shifted to private practice and established Deal Law Office, LLC. Around the same time she broadened her professional affiliations. She has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Family Law Section since 2016, and she also joined the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers that yr. Those memberships reflect the combination of household and criminal law that defines much of her practice nowadays.
