About John S.
John S. Han completed his law school training at American University Washington College of Law. He built his foundation there earlier than moving into a diverse legal career that spans public prosecution, federal trial work and military tribunal service. The classroom years gave way shortly to work in courtrooms and offices across different branches of presidency.
Early in his career Han served as an assistant district lawyer in Philadelphia, beginning in 2000. He joined the U.S. Department of Justice in 2006 as a trial lawyer in the Organized Crime and Gang Section, where he handled federal matters that required courtroom familiarity and coordination with investigative groups. In 2010 he accepted a role as a military trial judge on the Navy-Marine Corps Trial Judiciary, bringing courtroom control and judicial decision-making to the fore of his work.
