About Jason R.
Jason R. Ohliger took a traditional path into regulation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in philosophy from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2002. He then finished his legal studies at Temple University Beasley School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2005. Those educational years laid a clean basis for a profession spent practicing throughout numerous state systems.
Fresh out of law program, Ohliger joined Weinstein, Schneider et al. as an affiliate in 2005. He spent the next decade constructing knowledge on the company. In 2017 he became a companion at Weinstein, Zimmerman & Ohliger. The shift from affiliate to partner marked a continuous professional progression rather than an abrupt change. He remained with the firm because it advanced and expanded its bench.
Ohliger is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He maintains memberships in expert organizations, which includes the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Those credentials allow him to take instances and advise clients across a tri-state area. Colleagues describe him as steady in the management of instances and realistic in his court strategy.
Over the years he has handled things that require coordination throughout state lines. That work needs awareness to differing procedural guidelines and time limits. It also requires clear verbal exchange with clients who can be positioned in diverse jurisdictions. Ohliger’s practice displays that operational complexity. He is skilled in making ready filings, managing discovery and working with co-counsel when things cross borders.
He divides his time between the company’s New York workplace and the firm’s main office. In those settings he works with a team of attorneys and body of workers to transport cases ahead. He has taken phase in proceedings and pretrial proceedings, and he handles client counseling as a part of case development. His role as partner includes each casework and decisions approximately how the company deploys resources.
Outside of courtroom exercise, Ohliger participates in the expert network through affiliation club and routine bar-associated work. He remains lively in the 3 jurisdictions the place he is certified and keeps current on procedural changes that have an effect on litigation practice. His recent practice concentrates on representing clients in matters across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
