About Jason G
Jason G Litalien earned his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, attending from 2014 and graduating in 2017. He completed an additional Certificate in Information Privacy at the law program, building on his legal background with formal study in data safety and privateness regulation. The combination of law school coursework and a privacy certificate formed his early expert trajectory.
After law school, he entered private practice and later based Litalien Law, PLLC. He is licensed to practice in Maine and in the Federal Circuit. At his company he handles a variety of matters that contact both state and federal practice, drawing on the procedural and substantive demands of every discussion board.
Litalien has pursued extra certifications thru the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He holds both the Certified Information Privacy Professional and Certified Information Privacy Manager credentials. Those certifications tell his work on privateness assessments, adherence projects, and incident reaction making plans. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his strategy to drafting privacy insurance policies, negotiating seller contracts that include information safety terms, and advising on regulatory obligations under state and federal regulation.
His expert memberships include the Maine State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the York Bar Association. He is also a member of several veterans’ organizations: AMVETS, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans, every list club since 2008. Those affiliations place him in ordinary contact with bar colleagues and network organizations across Maine.
At Litalien Law, PLLC he advises clients across sectors that must address evolving privacy and data security issues. He works with small agencies, local establishments and individuals on compliance programs and realistic danger-control steps. He additionally represents clients in negotiations and administrative matters when data incidents occur.
He remains lively in bar and network groups and keeps the IAPP credentials that mirror ongoing engagement in privacy practice. His recent practice focuses on privacy, information security and related regulatory things.
