About G. Trippe
G. Trippe Hawthorne studied philosophy at Baylor University and finished his undergraduate diploma in 1992. He went on to earn his J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1995. The sequence of degrees set a clear trail toward trial and appellate work in both state and federal systems.
Fresh out of law school, he clerked for Judge John V. Parker on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. The clerkship lasted thru 1995 and gave him early publicity to federal process and courtroom practice. In 1996 he joined Gold Weems Bruser Sues & Rundell, the place he served as an associate and later as a partner. He spent numerous years there growing litigation experience across a range of matters. He holds admissions in Louisiana and Texas, and he's admitted to practice earlier than the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Court of Claims.
