About Ephraim Jacob
Ephraim Jacob Fink earned a B.A. from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1996 and a J.D. from New England Law Boston in 1999. His education combines training in communications and regulation, an unusual pairing that shaped the early arc of his expert lifestyles. He moved directly into a court surroundings following law school and spent his first year as a legal studies clerk for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch.
After the clerkship he entered personal practice. In 2001 he joined Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP as an associate. He later served as an affiliate at Babchik & Young, LLP beginning in 2008. In 2013 he became a companion at Maya Murphy, P.C., a role that expanded his duties and client touch. In 2020 he took the role of Special Counsel at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, where he continues to work.
Across those roles he has seemed in a variety of boards. He is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. He also holds admissions in numerous federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the Northern District of New York, as well as the Connecticut District Court and the United States highest court.
The arc of his profession displays continuous motion thru legal proceedings-oriented positions and increasing courtroom involvement. Early work in the Connecticut judicial system gave him publicity to courtroom procedures and legal research. Subsequent positions at regional and national firms added trial and appellate experience. That blend of public- and personal-sector work informs how he approaches cases and client things.
Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who's relaxed in courtroom and succesful behind the scenes. He has handled matters that required filing in state and federal venues and has navigated the procedural differences among them. Over time he has shifted from associate responsibilities to management roles inside firms, then to a senior counsel role at his current company.
He joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin as Special Counsel in 2020 and practices out in their offices. At Marshall Dennehey he concentrates on litigation in state and federal courts.
