About David J
David J Faber pursued a trail that blends academic depth with realistic legal work. He earned a B.A. in International Political Economy from Evergreen State College, followed by a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. He then finished a LL.M. in Property & Investment Law on the University of Washington School of Law. Those credentials framed an early curiosity in land, investment and regulatory problems.
His professional legal career started in studies and extern roles. In 2013 he labored as a research extern for Landesa, a role that exposed him to land rights and policy studies. That identical year he hung out at Perkins Coie LLP as a discovery lawyer, dealing with elements of records review and litigation support at a large firm. Also in 2013 he served as an associate lawyer on the Yakama Nation Office of Legal Counsel, the place he labored on matters that intersect tribal regulation and nearby governance.
In 2014 he co-founded Faber Feinson PLLC and became a companion. The pass to a small company setting gave him direct responsibility for client things and company operations. At Faber Feinson he has handled things tied to real estate, investment devices and related disputes. The company setting allowed him to take that blend of public-sector, large-firm and research experience and apply it to transactional and contested matters.
Faber keeps memberships in the Washington State Bar Association and the Jefferson County Bar Association. He has been indexed with the state bar since 2012. Those memberships reflect his standing to practice in Washington and his involvement in the nearby legal community. His background includes work across multiple institutional settings: nonprofit research, personal firm litigation help, tribal counsel and private practice leadership.
His schooling and early roles tell his strategy. The LL.M. in Property & Investment Law provides a specialized legal perspective on land and financing questions. Experience at the Yakama Nation Office of Legal Counsel further a knowing of tribal legal frameworks and intergovernmental problems. Work at Perkins Coie contributed to his legal proceedings and evidence-gathering process experience. Today he applies that mix of coaching and practice at Faber Feinson PLLC, where he handles property and investment things, real estate-associated legal proceedings and counseling, and problems involving tribal and municipal land use.
