About Dale
Dale Tice constructed a trail from science to regulation. He began his educational profession at Bluffton University, where he studied biology and earned a B.A. in 1986 after starting there in 1982. Two many years later he returned to high school and finished a J.D. at Dickinson School of Law in 2006, after starting his studies there in 2003. The combination of a science background and legal training shapes how he approaches complicated data and casework.
Tice has practiced in Pennsylvania for many years. He is a current member of the Pennsylvania State Bar and has worked inside regulation companies that handle a variety of civil and regulatory things. Colleagues say he brings continuous analysis to every dossier and a willingness to dig into technical facts. He is known for explaining hard factors in plain language and for preparing thorough written work.
Early in his career he moved from classroom theory to court and office practice. That transition required studying legal proceedings mechanics, client counseling and the procedural guidelines of state courts. Over time he accrued knowledge throughout several types of matters treated by his firms. His background in biology sometimes helps when cases contain technical or scientific evidence. He applies that experience when reviewing expert reviews and making ready witnesses.
Throughout his time in practice Tice has kept ties to bar activities and nearby expert networks. He maintains an active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar, attends ongoing legal training, and participates in expert discussions that form practice in the state. He has labored along litigators and transactional attorneys, gaining a broad point of view on how cases move through the justice system.
Colleagues describe Tice as continuous and methodical in his work habits. He writes clearly and prefers to prepare very well before depositions and hearings. That approach has made him a reliable contributor on teams handling contested things and negotiated settlements. He balances court preparation with attorney-client communication, aiming to keep clients informed about strategy and likely results.
Dale Tice now practices at Carpenter, Harris & Flayhart. He continues to handle legal matters across Pennsylvania and applies his combined legal and scientific background to the work he takes on.
