About Misty

Misty Toothman mixed a nonlegal undergraduate background with graduate study before shifting into law. She earned a B.S. in journalism, with a minor in psychology, from Liberty University in 2000. She later finished a M.A. in American records at American Military University in 2012. Toothman returned to formal legal study at Villanova University School of Law, finishing a J.D. in 2021 and a LL.M. in taxation in 2023.

Her in advance education in journalism shaped how she approaches legal issues. She learned to dig thru records and to write obviously. Her history diploma added context for complicated studies projects. Those skills proved beneficial in law program and later in practice, where careful analysis and clear drafting topic as so much as courtroom method.

Toothman is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. After law school she moved into tax-associated work, making use of the LL.M. to each transactional and dispute matters.
