About Brad Victor
Brad Victor Shuttleworth took a traditional route into regulation but has constructed a profession that crosses coaching, clerking and private practice. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University in 2000 and graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2004. Those two institutions anchor both his academic credentials and his later ties to law school training.
His early career contained a mixture of coaching and courtroom work. In 2002 he served as a part-time law professor at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business, an early foray into the study room. After law program he worked as a judicial regulation clerk for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County in 2004. The clerkship provided close exposure to trial process and written opinions, knowledge that knowledgeable his subsequent practice.
Shuttleworth moved quickly into personal practice. He based Shuttleworth Law, LLC in 2005. He later practiced at Alva & Shuttleworth, LLC in 2009. In 2017 he returned to Temple as an adjunct professor of law at the James E. Beasley School of Law, teaching whilst keeping an active practice. In 2021 he re-based Shuttleworth Law and has led the company since then.
His admissions cover each state and federal forums. He is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is likewise admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Those credentials permit him to represent clients in a range of trial and appellate settings throughout the two states.
Professional memberships reflect a tradition grounded in legal proceedings and court work. He holds memberships within the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Bar Association.
