About Beatriz A.
Beatriz A. Pelayo-Garcia earned her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2004 after finishing a B.A. in Women’s Studies at Occidental College in 1996. Her educational record consists of a leadership stint on the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review, where she served as Editor-in-Chief during the 2003–2004 year. That knowledge positioned her in the middle of scholarly debate on comparative law and worldwide legal matters while she finished her very last year of law school.
She opened her own practice the identical year she graduated. In 2004 she became proprietor and sole lawyer of The Law Offices of Beatriz A. Pelayo-Garcia. Running a small, independent firm has intended handling many shifting components: client intake, litigation preparation, court appearances and the every day management of an office. Those responsibilities shaped the manner she practices regulation and the way she advises clients.
Pelayo-Garcia is admitted to practice in California and within the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2004 and belongs to several nearby and affinity bar organizations. Her memberships include the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association and Latina Women Lawyers of Los Angeles.
