About Allison Brandt
Allison Brandt Blackwelder took a measured path into regulation. She completed a bachelor’s degree in records with a minor in faith at Duke University in 2010, then earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2013. Those academic stops shaped a strategy that blends near studying of facts with awareness to the wider context in which disputes occur.
Her professional legal career started immediately following law school. In 2013 she joined the Parham Law Office as an associate. That early duration gave her day-to-day experience in client counseling, pretrial motions and case control. It was a hectic apprenticeship. She treated regimen and pressing tasks that maintain a small company running and discovered how to control documents from intake thru resolution.
In 2016 she founded Blackwelder Law, LLC. Starting a company intended shifting from worker to owner. She took on responsibility for business decisions as well as client matters. The pass also meant constructing a tradition in South Carolina, where she is certified to practice. Running a small company has required balancing court preparation, workplace management and client relations.
Outside the workplace she has been concerned in local legal and civic groups. She belonged to the Florence County Bar Association from 2014 to 2016, and she or he was lively within the York County Bar Association from 2016 thru 2019. From 2013 to 2016 she participated in activities at Central United Methodist Church. Those memberships reflect ties to more than one South Carolina groups where she has worked and lived.
Colleagues describe her as continuous and practical in handling cases. She favors jargon-free explanations over legalese when talking with clients. In practice she emphasizes preparedness; she organizes instances so deadlines are met and evidence is accounted for. That habit grew from early years in a small workplace where every lawyer carried more than one duties.
Today she leads Blackwelder Law, LLC, handling the variety of duties that come with running a small company in South Carolina. She continues to manage client documents, appear in court when important and oversee the daily work of the office. Her current practice makes a speciality of representing clients in South Carolina through Blackwelder Law, LLC.
