About Wayne

Wayne Jentis built a legal foundation in classrooms on two continents before moving into courtrooms. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and Prelaw from Rutgers University in 1980. He later studied worldwide human rights law at the University of Oxford in 1999. He completed his J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law in 2000.

After law program he served as a regulation clerk to the Honorable F. Lee Forrester, P.J.F.D., on the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County, in 2000. Earlier, whilst nevertheless a scholar, he worked as an acting attorney beneath Rule 1:21-three on the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice in 1998. Those early roles gave him hands-on knowledge in trial court procedures and public-interest things.

He entered personal practice within the early 2000s. In 2001 he joined Diamond and Diamond, P.A. He worked on the Micklin Law Group in 2003. By 2004 he opened his own company, Wayne F. Jentis, Counsellors At Law, LLC. Six years later he based East Coast Law, P.A., where he serves as owner and managing lawyer.

Jentis holds admissions throughout several jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York, and before the highest court of New Jersey. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He additionally holds admission to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Those admissions permit him to symbolize clients in both state and federal boards.

Professional institutions have been part of his civil bar lifestyles. He has been a member of the New York State Bar since 2000 and the New Jersey State Bar since 2001. Locally he's active within the Brevard County Bar Association and is listed with the Brevard Collaborative Association starting in 2018. His memberships mirror a tradition that spans state boundaries and touches on local courtroom structures.

Today Jentis operates from East Coast Law, P.A., keeping a workplace in Brevard County. He continues to appear in state courts and in federal district and bankruptcy courts where he holds admission. His recent practice handles things that arise at each the trial-court level and in federal courts, and he represents clients thru East Coast Law, P.A.
