About Vaughn
Vaughn Stewart earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2014. He moved through a conventional educational path into the federal courts and later into private practice. His schooling laid a basis for work that crosses court process and public policy.
After law school, Stewart began his professional career as a regulation clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 2014. That yr in the federal courthouse gave him direct exposure to trial practice, case management and judicial choice-making. He joined WilmerHale LLP as an affiliate in 2015. At that giant firm he worked on matters that sophisticated his litigation abilities and uncovered him to complicated client work in a firm setting.
Stewart also has experience in public service. In 2019 he served as a Delegate in the Maryland House of Delegates. That position added a legislative dimension to his legal training. It put him on the opposite aspect of rulemaking and supplied an interior view of how regulation and policy intersect. After his time in elected workplace he returned to private practice and, in 2022, have become an affiliate at Paré & Associates, LLC.
He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, holding lively membership since 2015, and he's licensed to practice within the District of Columbia. His profession spans a federal clerkship, time at a prime countrywide firm, a stint in state authorities, and work at a regional practice. The combination gives him practical knowledge across litigation and legislative settings. He currently practices at Paré & Associates, LLC in Washington, D.C., and his recent practice focuses on representing clients within the District of Columbia, drawing on each his courtroom and legislative knowledge.
