About Tyler J.

Tyler J. White earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2016 after finishing a B.S. in Criminal Justice at Central Missouri State University in 2013. His law program research included coursework associated with DWI and DUI practice, building on the criminal justice foundation he developed as an undergraduate.

Early in his legal training White hung out inside two very different parts of Missouri’s justice system. He interned for the Honorable Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd within the 10th Judicial Circuit Court, where he noticed courtroom procedure and the day-to-day workings of a trial courtroom. He additionally served as an intern for Ronna Holloman-Hughes on the Office of the Public Defender for the Western District of Missouri, gaining exposure to protection case preparation and client advocacy in a public defender’s office.

After law program, White moved into trial work. He now practices as a trial lawyer beneath the call Tyler J. White, Lawyer & Counselor at Law, LLC. The transition to personal practice followed the types of hands-on experiences he had as an intern: drafting motions, making ready witnesses, and standing in courtroom. He has continued to focus on criminal defense and DUI-associated things in Missouri courts.

Professional institutions have been a steady part of his career. Since 2017 he has been a member of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also holds memberships in the National College for DUI Defense, the DUI Defense Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, all beginning in 2017. These memberships reflect ongoing engagement with colleagues who practice in similar regions of criminal and DUI defense.

White additionally serves as an Ambassador for the State of Missouri for the DUI Defense Lawyers Association. The title connects him to a company that facilities on DUI law and protection techniques. It aligns together with his background and the types of cases he handles at trial.
