About Trent

Trent West began building a professional legal career that balances court work and network involvement. He took a traditional path thru legal education and moved quickly into practice. Over a decade in Illinois regulation has shaped how he approaches clients and instances.

He earned a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011 after undergraduate learn about at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, the place he finished a B.S. in criminal justice in 2007. The educational background in felony justice and legal proceedings provided a basis for both trial work and workplace-based preparation.

West started his legal practice as an associate at Burnside, Johnston & Sheafor, P.C. in 2011. He additionally took on a leadership role within the Metro East Community Rotary Club, serving as its president starting in 2016.
