About Tom

Tom Peppler built his legal foundation across two very diverse campuses. He studied philosophy at Belmont Abbey College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1970. That undergraduate background in crucial thought preceded his choice to pursue regulation at Florida State University College of Law, where he acquired his Juris Doctor in 1978.

Peppler’s educational path mixed the broad questions of philosophy with the technical training of a Juris Doctor. Those years formed the habits he brought to practice: cautious evaluation, awareness to statutory detail and a preference for plainspoken explanations. Colleagues and clients have defined his approach as steady and pragmatic, favoring clean alternatives over elaborate concept.

After completing his legal studies, he moved into the practice of law. Over next many years he handled a varied docket that included court appearances, client counseling and transaction-related work. He labored through the practical realities of running things and managing client expectations. That realistic knowledge knowledgeable how he balanced legal risk against actual-world outcomes.

Peppler’s background in philosophy has had a power on his work. It underlined an emphasis on logic and on laying out arguments that may be observed step by step. In writing and in courtroom, he relied on structure and on anticipating counterarguments. Those habits stored his shows direct and his files organized.

Today he remains active in law. He brings decades in the field to current matters and continues to apply the analytical habits formed in his undergraduate and law program years. He currently practices law.
