About Todd North
Todd North Parrish is a partner at Miles & Parrish, P.A., where he has practiced regulation in Florida since becoming a partner in 2012. He works within the region of employees' compensation and advocates for clients across the state. Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and actual in preparation.
Parrish earned his Bachelor of Arts from Florida Southern College in 2004. He went on to law school at Stetson University College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2007. Those years shaped his interest in legal proceedings and public-service lawyering.
After law program Parrish constructed his profession in the Florida legal system. He joined Miles & Parrish, P.A. and rose to partnership in 2012. The company handles a range of employees' damages matters, and Parrish’s practice developed within that caseload. He has treated disputes that proceed to proceedings, administrative matters earlier than judges, and matters that require appellate briefing.
Parrish is Board Certified in Workers' Compensation by The Florida Bar. That certification reflects a qualification procedure administered by the state bar and shows he has met specified requirements in the topic area. It also aligns with the substantive work he plays for injured workers and employers concerned in contested claims.
Outside the court he has been lively in expert organizations. Since 2009 he has been a member of Florida Workers' Advocates. He joined the Lakeland Bar Association in 2011 and, starting in 2019, took a seat on the board of the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep him connected to colleagues throughout the region and to advancements in state employees' compensation regulation.
