About Todd G.

Todd G. Cole constructed an unconventional trail to the regulation. He earned a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University in 1991 after reading worldwide business on the University of Copenhagen in 1989. He went directly to receive a MBA from Emory University in 1994 and later returned to legal studies, earning his J.D. from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2007.

His earliest legal experience got here within the federal courthouse. In 2005 he served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Barry Seltzer in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. That clerkship exposed him to a range of civil matters and federal process. He later moved into private practice and based Cole Law Group, PC in 2009.

Cole’s career blends litigation, mediation and in-residence work. He has held a corporate legal submit as General Counsel and Vice President at Muovitech starting in 2016. He has also taught regulation-associated topics as a part-time law professor at Trevecca Nazarene University in 2012. Those diverse roles have given him knowledge in courtroom advocacy, company legal operations and study room instruction.

He keeps admissions across multiple jurisdictions, including Florida, Minnesota and Tennessee, and has appearances in federal venues such as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. highest court and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He is likewise admitted to practice earlier than the EOIR Immigration Court. Those credentials enable him to manage things at state, federal and immigration ranges.

Cole is listed by the Tennessee Supreme Court as a Rule 31 mediator in both family facilitated negotiation and common civil facilitated negotiation. He holds memberships in some of bar organizations: the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Williamson County Bar Association and the Tennessee Association for Justice. Those affiliations mirror ongoing participation in expert groups across jurisdictions.

His private practice at Cole Law Group, PC has centered on civil litigation and dispute resolution. He handles mediations in household and general civil matters and advocates for clients in state and federal courts and earlier than immigration tribunals. He continues to cut up his time between courtroom work, mediated resolutions and advising agencies on legal matters.
