About Thomas W. Kidd
Thomas W. Kidd Jr. started his legal journey at Miami University of Ohio, where he studied political science and graduated in 1989. He went directly to earn his J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 1993. Those years set the shape of a profession that has crossed public service and personal practice.
Early in his career Kidd served in prosecutorial roles. Records display he worked as an assistant prosecuting lawyer within the late 1990s and again in 2001. That work placed him interior county courtrooms and behind the charging decisions that begin many criminal cases.
In 2004 he released Thomas W. Kidd, Jr. LLC, shifting from authorities work into private practice. In 2017 he joined Kidd & Urling LLC as a partner, a position he continues to maintain.
Kidd has been a member of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2008.
