About Thomas J.
Thomas J. Percy studied political science and history at Boston University, earning a B.A. in 1982. He went directly to law program at American University Washington College of Law and received his J.D. in 1987. Those academic steps set a clear trail toward a tradition tied to property and municipal matters.
His profession has been a mix of personal practice, enterprise possession and local public service. He have become a senior companion at Percy Law Group, PC in 1994. A few years later, in 1997, he formed Percy Development Company, LLC and took on the role of proprietor. The two roles run in parallel and reflect overlapping interests in regulation, real property and development.
Public service has also been a part of his expert lifestyles. He holds a club on the Taunton Zoning Board of Appeals, where he engages in nearby land-use decisions and zoning questions. That knowledge gives him a hands-on point of view on how municipal forums operate and the way nearby guidelines shape development tasks.
Percy has been active in continuing legal education and industry instruction. He has served as a lecturer for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors’ Board Certified Realtor CLE and for the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association. Those speaking roles position him as an ordinary contributor to conversations about real property practice and regulation in the state.
Across his practice he works inside Massachusetts. His work spans legal advice tied to real estate transactions, zoning and development things, and the practical worries that occur when projects move from idea to structure. The business he owns interacts with those same subjects from the developer’s aspect, developing a twin perspective that informs client counseling and transactional work.
Colleagues and clients come upon an attorney who combines courtroom and boardroom experience with a developer’s eye for feasibility. He has maintained professional memberships since 1987, reflecting lengthy-status engagement in the legal community.
Today he continues as senior partner at Percy Law Group, PC while operating Percy Development Company, LLC and serving at the Taunton Zoning Board of Appeals. His current practice focuses on real property, zoning and improvement things in Massachusetts.
