About Tara
Tara Brown moved from an enterprise undergraduate diploma into law, finishing her B.A. in Business Administration on the University of Phoenix in 2006 and earning a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law 6Newark in 2011. The move from business studies to regulation informed her strategy to client problems. She combines the realistic language of trade with the analytic methods taught in law program.
Her early years after law school led to personal practice. In 2015 she opened The Law Office of Tara Brown, a solo practice that handled a variety of client matters and established her as a resource for humans and businesses needing counsel throughout state lines. That experience as a firm owner sharpened her case-management skills and gave her direct duty for each aspect of operating a practice, from client intake to courtroom preparation.
In 2022 she joined Whitbeck Bennett PLLC as a companion. That move brought her into a larger company setting and expanded the scope of work she handles. At the identical time, it preserved the hands-on client touch she developed as a practice owner. Brown is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Virginia and New York and maintains membership in the Virginia State Bar.
