About T. Douglas

T. Douglas Clifford began legal research at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1998 and earned his J.D. in 2001, concentrating in litigation. His time in law school emphasized court procedure and adversarial practice. He finished the formal legal training that prepared him for trial work and the needs of civil legal proceedings.

After law program he set his professional attractions on practice in Ohio. He is certified to practice in that state and has built a profession handling contested matters at the trial degree. His path brought him to Clifford Law Offices, the place he works along other litigators and engages in the day-to-day work of making ready cases for court. He has experience managing the phases every litigated matter requires, from research and discovery thru motion practice and litigation preparation.

His work is rooted in legal proceedings. He handles factual improvement, sworn testimony practice and motion work. He spends time crafting court filings, examining proof and growing strategies for trial. In courtroom he presents arguments, examines witnesses and seeks remedies on behalf of clients. The practical tasks of legal proceedings occupy much of his docket: submitting and responding to motions, supervising discovery, and coordinating professional testimony when instances name for it.

Colleagues describe him as thorough in case preparation and continuous under pressure. He approaches each topic as a sequence of tasks to be completed and selections to be made. That approach shapes how he allocates time among research, bargaining and trial readiness. As of 2026 he remains at Clifford Law Offices in Ohio and continues to manage litigation things in state courts. He presently focuses his practice on legal proceedings in Ohio.
