About Suraj
Suraj Vyas earned a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017 after completing a B.S. in Water Resources Management and Policy on the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2014. His educational trail combined technical training and regulation. That combination has carried through much of his profession.
Vyas started working in legal and technical roles early. He held positions as a teacher and court stenographer, and he served as a project manager and manager for consulting firms. In 2015 he labored as an intern at the Howard County District Court. In 2017 he moved into an in-house counsel position at Rising Sun Engineering & Consulting, LLC, a position that followed years of project control in the same firm. He released The Law Offices of Suraj A. Vyas, LLC in 2018.
Since starting his personal company, Vyas has treated a mix of personal and public-interest things. He has done volunteer legal work for Disability Rights Maryland and for the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service. He also taught as a guest professor for Pro-Care Project Administrators and Management Advisors, reflecting a persisted curiosity in education and project management along practice.
His credentials consist of certification as a Maryland Notary Public and a construction litigation credential from WPL Publishing Co. Inc. Those qualifications align with his work for clients that intersect structure, engineering and regulatory adherence. He has additionally seemed before administrative our bodies and in state courts, drawing on experience that spans legal proceedings, agreement disputes and administrative things.
Vyas is a member of more than one bar and expert organizations. He joined the American Bar Association and local Baltimore bar institutions in 2014, and later have become affiliated with the Maryland State Bar and the Maryland Association for Justice. He holds club within the District of Columbia Bar, the Howard County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice, amongst others.
He maintains a private practice at The Law Offices of Suraj A. Vyas, LLC, where he handles civil litigation, construction law things, administrative proceedings and pro bono disability-rights work.
