About Steven R Broadwater

Steven R Broadwater Jr. earned his B.A. in political science from Bethany College in 2007 and went directly to receive his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2010. Those years framed his curiosity in how state and federal structures have interaction and set the stage for a career centered on courtroom work. He moved from the study room into practice at a time when the region was handling a steady stream of complex civil and appellate disputes.

He is admitted to practice in West Virginia and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. That combination of state and federal credentials lets in him to work on things at different procedural levels. Colleagues describe him as steady in courtroom and methodical in preparation. Clients see a lawyer who explains alternatives plainly and outlines the next steps without legalese.

Broadwater joined Hamilton, Burgess, Young & Pollard, PLLC the place he has treated a mixture of legal proceedings tasks.
