About Steven N

Steven N Eckert educated first as an engineer and later as an attorney. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1998 and went on to finish a J.D. at Loyola University New Orleans in 2003, where his studies included each regular regulation and civil regulation traditions. His background blends technical education and trial experience.

After college Eckert worked as an engineer for Union Carbide Corporation in 1996. He then shifted toward law, serving as a federal judicial extern in 2002 for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana while finishing law program. That courtroom publicity came early in his legal education and knowledgeable his approach to legal proceedings.

Following admission to practice, Eckert joined the Cameron County District Lawyer’s workplace as an Assistant District Lawyer in 2005.
