About Steven

Steven Glista earned his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2006. He moved from the study room to courtrooms and convention rooms, constructing a practice that spans two states. His education at Oregon organized him for work in jurisdictions that require each legal knowledge and practical judgment.

After graduating, Glista entered personal practice and over time certified to practice in each Michigan and Oregon. He has treated things that cross state lines and has labored with clients who operate in multi-jurisdictional environments. Those experiences shaped a practical strategy to hassle solving and a preference for clean, green communication.

Glista has been involved in expert associations since 2009. He has participated in ongoing legal training and peer discussions. Those activities have kept him recent on changes in laws and process in the jurisdictions where he is licensed.

His profession consists of work at large firm settings and in roles that require coordination among groups of attorneys. Glista joined Dickinson Wright PLLC, the place he practices along colleagues in different offices. At Dickinson Wright he has worked on matters that require cautious attention to procedural guidelines and strategic making plans across jurisdictions.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and focused on outcomes that match client goals. He approaches each file by identifying key problems early and then shifting towards decision. That fashion fits clients who want responsive legal advisor and clean, realistic advice.

Outside the office, Glista has continued to follow developments in the regulation and to contribute to expert conversations. He has kept a lively role in continuing education and in mentoring more recent lawyers within company settings. Those efforts reinforce his day-to-day work and tell how he handles complex matters.

He presently practices at Dickinson Wright PLLC, representing clients on matters that occur in Michigan and Oregon.
