About Stephen
Stephen Baird earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He finished a legal education that prepared him for practice in a variety of settings. He moved into practice in North Dakota and constructed a career handling things in the state courts.
Early in his career he took on the everyday work that maintains a small practice running: client interviews, court filings, court appearances and transactional matters. Those experiences shaped how he approaches problems now. He learned to balance quick selections with careful legal evaluation.
Baird is licensed to practice in North Dakota. Over time he established the Baird Law Office. There he serves clients who need counsel on state-level things and representation in proceedings and trials. He manages casework and the realistic demands of operating a standalone practice.
Clients describe his work as simple and realistic. He handles filings, negotiations and court appearances, and he is concerned in each contested and noncontested matters. He reviews files, prepares motions and briefs, and advocates for clients at administrative proceedings and in courtroom. He also spends time advising on transactional issues that often occur for people and small agencies.
Outside the courtroom he makes a speciality of client communication and case management. He objectives for jargon-free explanations and well timed responses to inquiries. That approach guides how the workplace schedules work and prioritizes tasks.
Today he operates from the Baird Law Office, serving clients across North Dakota. He continues to handle litigation and transactional things for people and agencies and to provide counsel on state-level legal issues. He currently focuses on providing legal services to clients in North Dakota through the Baird Law Office.
