About Stacey
Stacey Keenan is a lawyer practicing in Minnesota. She studied sociology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and earned her bachelor’s diploma in 2002. She then attended Howard University School of Law and received her J.D. in 2006.
Keenan began her legal career in the nonprofit sector. In 2009 she joined North West Legal Assistance as a lawyer. There she worked on matters that brought early court and client-facing knowledge. That period helped shape her strategy to case management and legal hassle fixing.
Two years later she took on a leadership position at her own practice. In 2011 she became the managing lawyer at Keenan Law Office, LLC. That role further administrative duty to her workload. She balanced casework with the every day demands of running a small firm.
Her training combines a social sciences undergraduate diploma and a professional law school training. The sociology background gave her an eye fixed for social context. The Juris Doctor provided the technical education required for courtroom work and counseling clients.
Keenan’s career path shows continuous progression from staff attorney to company manager. She has experience in both an organized legal aid placing and in personal practice. Those diverse environments uncovered her to a variety of expert demanding situations, from case preparation to supervising operations.
Outside of case files, Keenan’s work displays a curiosity in having access to the regulation for individuals who come thru her doors. She practices in Minnesota and is admitted there. Colleagues describe her as practical in approach and clear in verbal exchange.
Today she leads Keenan Law Office, LLC and continues to serve clients in Minnesota. Her recent practice centers on handling legal matters for people and small organizations within the state of Minnesota.
