About Simone

Simone Nisbett took a path that started in business and ended in law. She studied enterprise management at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and later earned her J.D. from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. The aggregate of a business degree and a law degree shows during her practice. She moves easily between transactional issues and courtroom approach.

Her early work used to be in the nonprofit sector. In 2018 she served as Pro Bono Program Manager at Legal Services of North Florida, where she coordinated volunteer attorneys and helped expand get entry to to legal assist for low-income clients. That position put operational and software management experience on her resume and formed how she strategies client intake and case triage.

In 2021 she joined Kearney, McWilliams & Davis as a legal proceedings and intellectual estate clerk. The role involved research, drafting, and supporting trial preparation. She remained with the company and in 2023 transitioned into an attorney role there, handling enterprise, highbrow property, and legal proceedings matters. That stretch gave her hands-on knowledge in managing disputes and advising on IP protections for agencies.

In 2024 she moved to Fifth House Law, PLLC as a business, IP and amusement lawyer. Her practice now encompasses transactional work, agreement drafting, licensing matters, and legal proceedings help. She works on trademark and copyright problems in addition to the commercial agreements that arise in amusement projects. Her previous nonprofit and clerkship work informs how she balances legal strategy with realistic client needs.

She is licensed to practice within the District of Columbia and in Texas. Clients see a lawyer who combines business education and trial experience. She handles disputes and transactions, drafts and negotiates contracts, and advises on IP protections in creative and commercial settings. As of 2026 she continues to practice in enterprise, intellectual property, and media and entertainment law, serving clients in matters that cross transactional and litigation lines.
