About Shashi

Shashi Vijay earned a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2005. The law program years laid a realistic basis. Coursework and clinics exposed Vijay to both client counseling and courtroom process.

Vijay started legal practice as a law clerk at Reed Longyear PLLC in 2006. In that role Vijay supported litigators and transactional attorneys through legal research, drafting and case preparation. The early experience provided steady publicity to court filings, evidence-gathering process and client intake work.

By 2009 Vijay moved into associate-degree roles. That year Vijay served as an associate at Macey & Aleman and took on a concurrent role as a legal counsel to the UW Business Development Council. The affiliate position concerned day-to-day client work in civil matters and transactional files. At the UW Business Development Council Vijay recommended small business owners and entrepreneurs on legal and organizational issues.

Community work became a part of Vijay’s practice in 2010. Vijay volunteered as an attorney for domestic foreclosure legal help and staffed neighborhood legal clinics. That volunteer work persisted alongside membership in nearby expert teams. Vijay has been lively with the Washington Association for Community Organizations since 2010, and also holds memberships in the King and Pierce County Bar Associations and the Washington State Association for Justice.

In 2010 Vijay based VJ LAW FIRM PLLC and have become principal lawyer and owner. Over time the company developed a steady practice dealing with enterprise, bankruptcy and real property things. Vijay’s work at the firm spans transactional assignments and contested matters. Clients have covered small business clients, estate shoppers and sellers, and parties in monetary restructurings.

Vijay approaches instances with an emphasis on practical solutions and clear communication. Written work similar to contracts and court filings sits along courtroom work and bargaining. The practice balances short-time period hassle solving and longer-time period making plans for clients’ business and estate needs.

As of 2026 Vijay continues to practice thru VJ LAW FIRM PLLC and handles things in business law, bankruptcy proceedings and real estate law.
