About Shari-Lynn Cuomo
Shari-Lynn Cuomo Shore entered the regulation through an unusual aggregate of literary training and courtroom study. She earned a B.A. from the University of Rochester in 2001, concentrating in innovative writing and legal studies, and completed her J.D. at Albany Law School in 2005. Those years formed an attorney comfortable with dense legal analysis and clean written advocacy.
Her early legal formation covered a clerkship at the Schenectady District Lawyer’s Office in 2006. In that position she treated studies, drafted memoranda and motions, and assisted trial counsel. The position gave her day-to-day exposure to criminal things, procedural practice and client intake procedures. It used to be a hands-on introduction to the realistic side of lawyering.
By 2009 she had moved into private practice as a companion and proprietor at Riordan, Cutting & Shore, LLP. There she balanced casework with the administrative duties that come with company leadership. Managing client expectancies, supervising body of workers and contributing to the company’s enterprise operations became a part of her routine further to legal tasks.
Three years later she assumed a companion and proprietor role at Wolf & Shore, LLC. That move consolidated her profession in personal practice and positioned her squarely in Connecticut’s legal community. Her day-to-day work continued to include courtroom preparation and client counseling, alongside with managing the practical demands of operating a small law firm.
Shore is admitted to practice in Connecticut. Her knowledge spans public service and personal firm work, and it displays a continuous development from clerkship to firm ownership. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and pragmatic: she breaks complex things into discrete tasks and keeps clients informed thru each step of a case.
Outside the workplace she has maintained a steady focus on the executive side of practice. Over time that has translated into routine oversight of case workflows, delegating duties to help staff, and ensuring that documents move forward on schedule. The result is a tradition that runs on predictable process and thoroughness instead of on flash.
She continues to practice at Wolf & Shore, LLC and represents clients in things across Connecticut, combining her earlier public-sector knowledge with years of private practice work.
