Shannon L. Altamura studied literature and politics before she ever set foot in a courthouse. She earned a B.A. from Trinity University in 2006, concentrating in English literature, political science and speech. She went on to finish her legal background at George Mason University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2010.
