About Scott M
Scott M Heidorn brings a continuous presence to the Massachusetts legal network. He earned his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2004 after beginning his legal studies in 2001. Before law program he attended Trinity College, where he finished a B.A. in 1997 following enrollment in 1993.
Heidorn’s path thru the bar and professional associations reads like a continuous development into leadership. He served as chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division from 2011 to 2012. A few years later he led the Lawyer Referral Service as chair from 2014 to 2015. He then chaired the Civil Litigation Section Council from 2015 through 2017. Those roles placed him in regular contact with each more recent lawyers and based practitioners across the state.
Peers recall Heidorn as someone who observed the element work closely. His association roles required administrative oversight, coverage discussions and outreach to members. He moved from leading initiatives aimed toward younger attorneys to a much broader set of responsibilities that touched the day-to-day practice of civil litigation in Massachusetts.
Heidorn is listed among the lawyers at Bergstresser & Pollock PC. At the company he has persisted work that aligns with the issues he handled at some point of his time in the Massachusetts Bar Association. That continuity — from affiliation management to firm practice — is a through line in his career.
Colleagues say Heidorn strategies case work methodically. He has knowledge dealing with the types of procedural and substantive disputes regular in state civil courts. His tenure in bar leadership uncovered him to referral work and questions about access to counsel. Those experiences tell how he manages client intake and coordinates with other lawyers.
