About Scott
Scott Carlson constructed his legal foundation at Roger Williams University. He finished a B.A. in political science in 2006 and earned his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2009. During law school he took on editorial duties for the Roger Williams University Law Review, serving as Executive Notes and Comments Editor in 2008 and 2009.
After commencement he spent a year inside the state judiciary. In 2009 he served as a law clerk to the Rhode Island Supreme Court. That role put him close to appellate briefing and judicial decision-making, sharpening his studies and writing at an early stage of his profession.
He moved into personal practice almost immediately. By 2010 he used to be a companion at Carlson & Dumeer, LLC. The firm has been the middle of his professional lifestyles since then. Over time his work has bridged things throughout neighboring states, reflecting the 3 jurisdictions in which he practices: Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
Carlson’s expert memberships monitor his regional engagement. He has been a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association since 2009 and joined the Connecticut Bar Association in 2010.
