About Sarah

Sarah Young earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2011 after finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. She started her expert lifestyles outdoor the court, a trail that exposed her to the realistic side of coverage and claims work earlier than she moved into legal practice.

Her early career covered a stint as a casualty claims adjuster at Nationwide Insurance in 2007. That position gave her firsthand knowledge with claims handling and dispute decision. After law school she returned to private practice as a regulation clerk and then as an associate at Maynard & Harris, the place she labored in 2012 and again in 2018. She also served as a contracts officer at Wake Forest Baptist Health in 2015 and later have become director of contracting for Level 4 Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2016, roles that deepened her knowledge with healthcare agreements and vendor relationships.

In 2014 she joined the advisory board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Davie County, adding nonprofit governance to her résumé. She took on local leadership even earlier, serving as president of the board of administrators for the Fork Volunteer Fire Department in 2012. Those volunteer roles sit alongside her positions in personal practice and corporate contracting, reflecting a mix of community involvement and institutional work.

She hung out at Citrin & Whitman, PA in 2019 as a lawyer, returning to private-firm practice after her agreement-management positions. At regulation companies she handled conventional matters for small to mid-size practices, including client counseling, document drafting, and representation in disputes. In later years she established her own practice, founding the Law Office of Sarah Young, PLLC, where she operates today.

Her background touches numerous areas of legal work. Casualty claims handling formed her understanding of insurance claims disputes. Contract roles gave her practical information of fitness-care and vendor agreements. Her firm and earlier firm work required addressing client needs throughout civil disputes and transactional matters. The mix of roles gives her a realistic orientation towards hassle fixing and client communication.

She maintains her license to practice in North Carolina and leads the Law Office of Sarah Young, PLLC. Her practice concentrates on agreement work, insurance and casualty matters, and health-care related contracting problems.
